    Celebrations

Observing important days and weeks often aligns with promoting values such as peace, tolerance, equality, environmental sustainability, and social justice. Celebrating diverse cultural, religious, and national observances helps in fostering cultural awareness, sensitivity, and respect among students. It provides a platform for students to learn about different traditions, customs, and perspectives, promoting inclusivity and understanding in the school community. Through themed activities, discussions, and projects, KVS emphasizes on instilling these values in students and encourages them to become responsible and empathetic citizens. Apart from Independence Day, Republic Day, Gandhi Jayanti and other Days of National Importance, Bhartiya Bhasha Diwas, Sanskrit Saptah, Hindi Pakhwada, Bhartiya Bhasha Utsav, Janjatiya Gourav Diwas and many more days and activities associated to significants events are observed in Kendriya Vidyalayas.
